Explorer 18 Savings Protection Plan

Tahoe Life Insurance Company (Macau) Limited (“Tahoe Life”) is pleased to present you Explorer 18 Savings Protection Plan (the “Plan”). The Plan is a whole life insurance plan with both life protection and savings. Its lumpsum guaranteed cash payment payable on the 18th birthday of your children aims to help realise your children’s dreams as well as pave the way for a wonderful life.

Plan Features:

Premium Payment Terms at Choice
According to your personal needs, you may choose the premium terms for 10 years or up to the insured's attained age of 18. The premium is guaranteed to remain unchanged once it is determined, facilitating better financial planning for your future.

Annual Dividends and Terminal Dividend
Careful cultivation of talented children needs the financial support. A guaranteed cash value and an
annual dividend1 will be payable to you to have the additional savings for your children. You may choose to leave the annual dividends in the policy to earn interest in order to increase your wealth. If the policy has been effective for 5 years, it will also bring you additional returns by providing a one-off terminal dividend upon the surrender of the policy, the maturity of the policy or the death of the insured. Both the annual dividends and terminal dividend are not guaranteed.

Lump Sum Guaranteed Cash Payment
A lump sum guaranteed cash payment, equivalent to 25% of the sum assured of the basic plan of the policy, will be payable on the policy anniversary date on or immediately following the 18th birthday of the insured. You may choose to use it for tuition fee for your children or practice other development goals. Also, you may leave it in the policy to earn interest.

Extra Life Insurance Coverage
A greater protection is needed when your children are growing up. Starting from the policy anniversary date of the insured attained age of 18, an extra life insurance equivalent to 50% of the original sum insured is awarded and no extra premium payment is required.

Guaranteed Insurability Option
Within three months following the policy anniversary date on or immediately following the 18th birthday of the insured, new life insurance plan can be applied without any evidence of health of the insured. The sum assured of the new policy per insured can be up to five times of the latest sum assured of the basic plan of the original policy, subject to a maximum of USD 250,000 / HKD 2,000,000 or 5 times of the original of sum assured, whichever is lower.

Reward for Academic Excellence
To give recognition for academic excellence, an achievement award of HKD 500 for every "A" grade / "90 score or above" achieved in the graduate examination of secondary school of Chinese, English and Mathematics; the total accumulated award would be HKD 1,500.

Supplementary Contracts
The children's growth path is long. You may choose to enhance the protection by adding "Payor's Benefit Supplementary Contract". In the unfortunate event of the death or completely disabled of the policyholder, Tahoe Life will waive the premium payments in order to ensure the arranged savings protection plan continues.
